Wuhan University China Institute of Boundary and Ocean Studies (CIBOS) and the Chinese Society of the Law of the Sea proudly announce that the 2022 China International Law of the Sea Moot Court Competition (2022 CHINA ILOSMCC) will be held on 22-23 October 2022 at Wuhan University. In view of the uncertainties of the COVID-19, the competition will be held online throughout.
The competition is aimed to provide a platform for the participating students to deepen their knowledge of public international law and exchange views on the current hot topics in the field of the law of the sea. The competition will simulate proceedings under Part XV of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea before the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea or the International Court of Justice. The final round will be decided by a panel of eminent judges with expertise in public international law and law of the sea.
The Organizing Committee warmly welcomes the interested institutions and universities from all over the world to participate in this competition, and those interested should register by 31 May 2022.
